Iron Glove Productions is an award winning independent production company focused on creating art with an impact. Founded by BAFTA-Breakthrough Writer-Director, Dominique Nieves, IGP highlights rarely showcased perspectives and empowers diverse voices in front of and behind the camera.
Since its inception, IGP has produced narrative projects for television and film, earning a Telly Award for Children’s Television, and selection to Oscar-qualifying film festivals. With a penchant for centering women on screen, breaking traditional molds, and showcasing urban culture in a joyful light, our films span 4 quadrant audiences, share thought provoking and heartwarming themes, and often dip into the realm of magic realism and science fiction.
Our branded work includes content for international companies, spanning across digital media for advertising, awareness building, social media engagement, fundraising, industrials, and more.
Iron Glove Productions is a place where artists and their stories impact their community at large. We are dedicated to fostering the next generation of filmmakers through mentorship, hands-on experience, and increasing access. Our outreach programs include free educational programming, the Read Latinx Writers Initiative for television writers, and shadowing opportunities for high school and college students.
